Metropolis Labs is the frontrunner in the diagnostic landscape in India and has a good international presence, majorly in African markets. In a move to further strengthen our presence in the African region and to ensure access to advanced diagnostic tests to patients at reasonable costs, we are pleased to launch the state-of-the-art diagnostic testing laboratory in Uganda. With this launch, we look forward to partner and work with local hospitals and clinicians and share the responsibility of providing different types of tests ranging from basic day to day pathology tests to the high-end molecular diagnostics tests.
Spearheaded by Mr. Avadhut Joshi, CEO – International Business, Metropolis, the new diagnostic laboratory was inaugurated by Hon’ble Dr. Susan Nabadda, Commissioner Lab Services, Ministry of Health, Uganda in the presence of our Chairman Dr. Sushil Shah, alongside other key professionals in Uganda’s health sector.
