It is quite common for everyone to experience altered bowel habits like constipation, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps etc., which generally gets cured with few medications, rest or fasting. But one shouldn’t ignore if these symptoms continue to persist and if he/she notices blood in their stools. Then this is an alarm to get the Fecal Occult test or Colonoscopy done to rule out Colonic Neoplasia (Colon Cancer).
